Lulea University of Technology – Investigations on the simultaneous utilisation of Red Mud and fly ash (waste from coal burning thermal power plants) from an Indian aluminium industry. Feasibility studies have been carried out on: a) Preparation of stabilised (cold-bonded) blocks from red mud and fly ash using cement as binder, b) Preparation of sulfoaluminate – ferrite based special cements using red mud, fly ash and lime stone with appropriate additions (the link is no longer working; it is left for “historical” reasons by administrator)
